Today mum is training me to not mind having my head touched. I don't think she had realised that I didn't like strangers touching it until training class this week. I was fine when I had my puppy vacs and also when the judge checked me over at a recent show so I don't think mum knew.
We are starting to day to really break Bo of the habit of being head shy. We've started today with her on the lead which we have stood on to stop her completely running off. In one hand we had the clicker and the treat (liver cake) and with the other we went to check her ears. If she pulls away no click and no treat. She seemed to pick it up quickly but we think it may be a long process overall.
